Work It, Mom!

Work It, Mom is the name of a relatively new networking site for moms. Think Facebook for mothers who work. WIM isn´t just for wahms, though, they welcome any mom who has any kind of job or who is considering working.
On this site, you´ll find plenty of helpful advice on everything from getting the household chores done to parenting advice and ideas for starting up your own business. The articles are written by members (expect to see some of my articles up shortly) and it is truly a community effort. Other things that make this community work are the forums, groups where like-minded moms can join together to lose weight, encourage one another to start a business or swap tips for working at home with little ones, and they help you remember the good and bad by asking a handful of simple questions each day. You answer them and your day is archived to look back on in the future.
Moms fill out profiles where not only do you put down the usual information, but grade yourself on your work/life balance. Don´t worry, this profile can be as private or public as you like, so if you prefer to only let your friends see how old your children are, that´s fine.
Work It, Mom is definitely a great place to hang out and meet other moms in the same situation as yourself, but it´s good to branch out and learn something new, too. Why not take a minute and check it out for yourself?
