Shelter in a Cart
August
12th
We like designers Barry Sheehan and Gregor Timlin’s concept for designboom’s mobile living/storage competition -‘Shelter Cart’, a receptacle that doubles as shelter when flipped upside down. The cart’s capacity (and thus, roof coverage) is adjustable, though its functionality is less the point of the design than its aim “to raise awareness” about the issue of urban homelessness.
