David Stark’s Awesome Sustainable Event Design
August
20th
Design Sponge points us to the amazing work of event designer David Stark. The environment he put together for a Robin Hood Foundation party is worth noting for it’s beauty and sustainability. Huge structures were constructed out of donated supplies, and they were all designed to be taken apart and distributed to people in need afterwards. A giant chair was made out of water bottles, and hundreds of donated shoes were sculpted into a life size tornado. A house was also built out of towels. Great ideas here, considering that usually there would be a ton of waste generated from a one off event like a party.
