Holographic Soldiers: US Army Attempts to One-Up CNN
Thursday, den 6. November 2008CNN style holograms (though hopefully more realistic) are coming to the US military. Using a process called “quantum ghost imaging” they hope to create realistic, self-aware virtual soldiers that can be actually put into battle. The exact science behind quantum ghost imaging is a bit mind boggling, and not quite perfected, yet (though very close).

Flexible Strategy vs mix and match Template Strategy
Thursday, den 6. November 2008The web is full of information. You will find millions of pages on how to market a product online or how to SEO to get huge amount of targeted visitors. These are almost like free marketing templates (you will also find some in this blog too).
But still, why only a handful of people succeed in achieving the goal even though everyone had the information or had the opportunity to find all information online!
Let’s put it straight - information does not make something successful. Information can help you to develop a strategy and a strategy can help you to achieve the goal. Agree?
However, you will find hundreds of strategies online - simply mix and match a few and you have a great looking, high definition strategy - isn’t it!
Thousands of people like me and you develop a strategy. Do they all achieve the goal?
Some of them follow their respective strategies and few of them can actually achieve the goal.
However, if you have bigger goals to achieve, develop a custom strategy to promote your product.
How to develop a custom strategy?
1. Identify your goal
2. Divide the goal into smaller milestones
3. Find out the problem areas that are stopping you to achieve those milestones
Once you have identified the problem areas, you should be able to find out a solution.
In case of template based promotional strategies, people often fail to identify the core problem. The problem with your business model should be different from mine. So, how can solution be the same? Another problem with the template based strategy is that it does not teach you to be flexible in the right way and for the right reason. The conclusion is simple - you must have a “flexible” strategy to successfully run an online business.
For example, why do you pay so much of money in developing a unique template? You can easily find thousands of high quality and free templates online! If a free template cannot serve your purpose, how come a template based strategy would help!
Develop your own flexible strategy on a mix and match template strategy.

A Map That Lights Up
Thursday, den 6. November 2008We love this concept from Owen Song: a map overlayed on specially battery-operated LED ‘paper’ that, when rolled up, becomes a source of light. According to the designer, the LEDs could be powered by the 12V paper-thin battery, which would be activated once the two electrodes (exposed on the back cover of the map) are [...]
