Mark Langan: Turning Cardboard Into Art
Monday, den 9. February 2009Artist Mark Langan has figured out a beautiful way of reusing corrugated cardboard as a medium for his artworks. Using only found cardboard, non-toxic glue and cutting tools, Langan creates intricate three dimensional pieces that recontextualize the unique qualities of the different kinds of packing materials into new meanings.

PSFK Presents Good Ideas In New Orleans

The American Marketing Association has invited me to come and speak at a special luncheon at the Zea Rotisserie & Grill on St. Charles Ave. I will be presenting the themes that we put in our book Good Ideas In 2009. Tickets are open to all and less than $30 - so I’d love to see any of you readers there.

Fine Dining Goes Pay-What-You-Like in London
Monday, den 9. February 2009It’s crazy or genius depending on how you look at it - Little Bay, a high end London restaurant is letting customers pay what they like for their dinners. This generous scheme is being employed in hopes of attracting patrons who may be thinking about phasing out fine dining during this recession. Little Bay owner Peter Iilic feels that the gesture will lift people’s spirits a bit, and believes that payments will average out in the end.

Flavor Tripping: what foodies do to up the ante
Monday, den 9. February 2009Over the past few months, we’ve been hearing rumors about some crazy berry that changes the way things taste, rewiring the way the palate perceives sour flavors and making lemon wedges seem like gourmet appetizers and cheap tequila taste like Patrón. We were intrigued to say the least.
