March
2nd
The Coen Brothers have taken their unique view of the world and applied it to the myth of “clean” coal, directing a commercial spoof that seeks to dispel the fantasy of guilt-free fossil fuels as wishful thinking at best. The spot was created on behalf of the Reality Coalition, a non-profit project comprised of various environmental groups that challenge the coal industry’s claims that such an energy source exists, demanding they transform their operations and end their current advertising campaign.
