Vice Fashion Issue
Wednesday, den 25. March 2009
There is so much serious, snooty editorial about fashion, we always appreciate when Vice comes out with its Fashion issue. Their most recent is no different. From the interview which hails Kai Kühne as a renegade fashion star before getting him to admit that he doesn’t understand fashion, to the article which claims in all seriousness that epaulettes (those ornament-like shoulder accessories on army uniforms) are the future of fashion, to the amazing cover featuring a wild pig (see above), the whole thing is a breath of fresh… Continue reading Vice Fashion Issue

From Shipping Container to Healthcare Clinic
Wednesday, den 25. March 2009Shipping containers - noteworthy for their modularity, durability and availability - have long provided material and inspiration for designers and architects looking for new ways of envisioning and constructing our physical environment. We’ve seen these steel behemoths transformed into everything from pop-up shops to dwellings, giving second life to objects that would otherwise simply take up space. Lo-Fi Charm of Papercraft and 2-D
Wednesday, den 25. March 2009We’re enjoying this stop-motion, paper-craft video that mixes in traditional 2D animation. The Seed follows the life-cycle of an apple seed from beginning to end and back to the ground it came from. The making of the video is equally fascinating.
