NY Auto Show: Scion iQ Concept Drops In
Wednesday, den 8. April 2009
Scion put on another good show today in NYC. They dropped in (literally from the roof) a new concept car called the iQ. Eagle eyed car geeks will probably quickly pick out that in fact this car is a tricked out version of the Toyota iQ. Still the iQ stood out today mostly because everything else revealed at the show was either a luxury car or luxury SUV. In Scion’s terms, the “i” in iQ… Continue reading NY Auto Show: Scion iQ Concept Drops In

Hub Pavilion: London’s New Mobile Workspace
Wednesday, den 8. April 2009I noticed a wave of bedouin or ‘Mobile Working’ in London when I was back there for nearly a month recently. In fact I spent most of my time in London either using the mobile workspace I am now a member of, Hub Pavilion, or attending meetings hosted by others (headhunters, ad industry people, independent consultants etc) in their similar space, most which also have “Hub” in their name somewhere. Hub Pavilion, and founder Stan Stalnaker, hosted a dinner for… Continue reading Hub Pavilion: London’s New Mobile Workspace

Wednesday, den 8. April 2009
During the Good Ideas Salon in London in January, panelist and Dopplr founder Matt Jones told the audience that we shouldn’t be so concerned with ‘location’ when it comes to mobile technology, but more interested in ‘place’. Location is a matter of routine. We’re in work, college, at home, at our corner shop, at our favourite pub. These patterns… Continue reading Matt Jones On How To Use Location Based Services To Export Our Past Into Our Future

Recession Affects UK Streetwear
Wednesday, den 8. April 2009Quite a few people have noticed the move of the well known and loved BAPE store off Carnaby Street, which people used to queue outside for hours on the day a new line was being released. The BAPE lines have now been moved to pop-up stores in Dover Street Market, a place not many of the regular customers are all too comfortable visiting. Visually Mapping Web Trends
Wednesday, den 8. April 2009
The folks at Information Architects recently unveiled their annual web trend map overlaid on the Tokyo subway system. While others also map information on familiar subway maps, this version charts the complexity of the year’s web trends in remarkable simplicity.
